We finally finished packing everything to take to our storage locker and we got it all in, including our car.

We had feared that clearing space in our storage locker for our car would take all day, but we were there no more than five hours. My wife is an amazing organizer. She could find good places for boxes as quickly as I could carry them to her.

Perhaps even more amazingly, our car made the 250-mile trip to the storage locker entirely on its own power. We never had the slightest problem with it.

Because the trip and the packing both went so well, we were able to enjoy the company of some family still at the reunion (for my wife’s family — we missed the one for my family), and the following day we were able to visit friends on campus as well.

God was looking out for us.
